All salute our new recruits!

Despite the chilly outside conditions, a couple of warm welcomes to pass along:

1. to the fabulous current crop of Compassitos and Compassitas who now bring the family of Compass alumni on the network to 120 strong.
Welcome aboard, newbies!

2. to new Compass staff member Karen Begemann who we're delighted to welcome to the fold and look forward to the amazing contribution this talented, experienced, and personable addition will undoubtedly bring to the program.
Welcome aboard, Karen!

Keep your fingers and toes under wraps, all, and don't hesitate to use the Compass Centre as a destination or stop-over if it helps get you where you're going.

Develop this!

Hi, all

Wanted to let you know about a job posting that came through the inside pipeline.
It's a Job/Career Developer position for the Neil Squire Foundation which helps empower people with disabilities to make genuine contributions to society. The requirements suggest a Bachelor's Degree in the Arts and 5 years working with people with disabilities.

If you would like more information on this opportunity, please email me and I will forward the entire posting.

Hope you're all getting more water in your bodies than in your basements.

Enter, one and all

Howdy, all

A couple of quick items for your consideration:

1. We have received an "inside" employment opportunity to do some data entry work from Global Strategies Canada. You can choose part time, full time, or contract options and will even be able to work from your home. This may not be anyone's dream job but might be a consideration as a temporary structure job. If interested, please email me and I'll send you the contact info.

2. While we had originally hoped to have a full Compass alumni get-together before Christmas, with all the business and happenings around the office it looks like we'll have to postpone until the new year. We're currently planning to hold the event on the evening of Thursday, January 25th so mark your calendars (the Golds among you will already have these for next year, the Oranges, not so much) and stay tuned for details.

Hope none of you have been washed away in the recent monsoons...
