Ten-HUT, recruits!

Here are a couple of top-secret opportunities that were leaked to the Compass strike-force team last week.

(thanks to elite reconnaisance officers Supersam and Kaz for the info)

April fool

Howdy, fellow rainforest-dwellers.

Here's a couple of tidbits to ponder as you wait for those April showers turn into May flowers...

1. The YWCA One Stop Career Shop is holding a hiring fair this Thursday, April 26th at 15 Chesterfield Place (right beside the Lonsdale Seabus station) featuring the North Vancouver Recreation Commission, Scotia Bank, Rogers Video, Starbucks, and the North Vancouver RCMP as attending employers. It runs from 4-6PM and is open to anyone of any age interested in speaking with these employers about potential employment opportunities.

2. A few more postings have arrived that may be of interest including:
i) Three (count 'em, 3!) positions with Great Canadian Casinos (HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, Scheduling Coordinator).
ii) Program Coordinator for Loving Spoonful.
iii) Wellness Services Assistant for the Friends for Life Society.
iv) Ad Sales Associate for The Tyee.
v) Office Assistant for the New Westminister Community Development Society.
vi) Project Coordinator for the BC Association of Farmer's Markets.
vii) Marketing Assistant for Kostklip.

Chins up, all - only six more days until the end of April Fool's days.
What? It was just one day?

So I guess I shouldn't have told those nice people with the big cheque from Publisher's Warehouse where to go, hey...?
Dagnabit!
