Return of the Jedi

Huge thanks to the fifty-odd folks who came out for the Third Annual Compass Reunion last night - we hope you got a chance to catch up with old friends, make some new connections, and enjoy all the positive energy a collection of such cool cats provides. We sure appreciate you taking time out of your busy lives to come by for a catch-up. And, if we didn't have the pleasure of seeing you last night, we hope you'll ring in some time and let us know how your wild and precious life is going these days.

By the bye, the new website features are up and running on the Alumni website as of this morning. I've already added a song to the playlist that I feel is apropos - I hope you'll feel free to do the same.

Something old, something new...

Howdy, folks - just wanted to mention a few new features coming to our networking website this Thursday to make it even more useful and user-friendly. The first is a chat function that will allow you to communicate in real time with anyone else who's on the website at the same time. The second is an RSS feed to make it easier for those of you who are familiar with this technology can stay up to date when new posts are created. Thirdly, there is now the ability to import both music and video files so you can customize your website experience (click here for a video tutorial of these features). I hope you'll check out the site and test-drive these new features as well as scoping out all the interesting new folks who've signed up of late (fyi: we're currently at 249 members so the next signee will be lucky number 2-fiddy!).

And, speaking of Thursday, a huge thanks to those who answered our Reunion survey - looks like we're expecting another healthy crew of folks on tap. And we're hoping that, even if you didn't get a chance to ring in, we'll still get to see your shining face at the Compass Centre this Thursday (Feb 26th) from 6:30-8PM.
