El Trio Supremo


Three more super-quick heads-ups thanks to Alumni superspies, Tamaryn, Ken, and Christine:

1. Small Business BC presents The Entrepreneurs Showcase which is billed as a "mix and mingle business networking event" featuring a number of successful local entrepreneurs such as George Moen (President of Blenz Coffee), Scott Morison (Founder of Browns Social House), Nancy Mudford (Owner of Le Petit Spa), Michael Ziff & Jen MacCormack, CEO and President, respectively, of Hip Baby), Kin Wah Leung (President & CEO of Kin’s Farm Market), and many more.

2. Timeraisers is presenting their second annual "timeraising" event Thursday, Sept 24th where they silently auction off art, not for money, but to people who donate their time towards worthy causes (Big Brothers and Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, etc, etc). 3. This weekend (Sept 19th/20th), the Vancouver Sun and Vancouver Province will both be featuring Working Supersections with lots of articles and information for job seekers (ie. employment opportunities, job-seeking tips, promising job sectors, etc).

Hi Folks,

The next Industry Focus Event will feature Green Careers.
These events offer an in depth and insightful perspective on the featured industry and will also give you a chance to meet and speak with individuals actively involved in various related fields. In other words, a great opportunity for doing some informational interviewing and networking.
