Things are Heating Up (CODE 951)

Howdy, folks - hope all's swell out there in Alumniland.

This here is a quick reminder that we're one week from what is setting up to be a fabulous Full Compass Reunion where we hope to set some new Centre attendance records (and potentially break a few fire codes) next Thursday (May 6th) by packing the house with a truly abundant number of past Compass participants. We're really hoping to see both those who've taken the program recently as well as those who we haven't had the pleasure of catching up with for a while (hey, think of it as a high-school reunion without the gossip and obvious hairpieces).

Hopefully, the evening will provide a chance for you to catch up with your former classmates (feel free to start your own recruitment drives!), meet some interesting new folks, and take advantage of that rare Compass air (fyi: Elaine purifies each molecule personally). Plus there's a talent show that promises to be highly entertaining, one way or another. We've got singers, spoken word artists, and erstwhile musicians on the docket already and there are still one or two spots available (if you haven't spoken up yet but would like to show off your stuff, please send a note asap).

Doors open at 7PM and we'll wrap things up around 9 so don't be late or you might miss some golden moments.

Until then, keep your combustibles safely stowed and your hoses handy, all.

Reuning, Re-tuning, and General Hi-jinx

Well, the numbers are in and it looks like we're a go for the reunion on May 6th. Thanks to all those who provided their two cents on the survey.

Here's how it'll stack up:
7PM Doors open for meeting, greeting, reconnecting, and general hi-jinx.
7:45PM Compass-instigated activity for mixing, mingling, and general hi-jinx.
8:30PM Talent show (showcasing the various creative and entertaining abilities and efforts of Compass participants) and general hi-jinx.
9PM You don't have to go home but you can't stay here (and general hi-jinx).

Even if you didn't respond to the survey, we'd love to see you so feel free to drop by for any or all of the festivities. For those folks who would like to perform at the talent show (including those who haven't yet indicated as such), please send me an email (bill@northshorecompass.com) and we'll book you one of the coveted 5-minute time slots.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions regarding the event, please don't hesitate to ring and, otherwise, we hope to have to knock down the wall to the dentist's office next door to make room for all the amazing folks who turn up.

Until then, stay classy, fellow Compassers!

~B

P.S. Best recent survey comment: "Will come if I can get the night off from my normal bicycle dance troupe practice (not a joke)"

You gotta love Compass...
