Howdy, all - hope you're finding the right combination of clothing and accouterments (facial hair included) to handle the wild swings of weather that November has brought our way.

1. Recent Compass grad and all-around-great-gal, Andrea (aka WOO!), passed along this heads-up regarding an intriguing conference happening this weekend called
Beyond Pink being put on by
Young Women in Business, an organization that helps support emerging female leaders. Whether you're interested in attending the event or not, they may be an interesting organization to check out and see what else they do.
2. Fellow alumnus, Tina, kindly tipped us off that S.U.C.C.E.S.S is hosting a Job Fair for job opportunities this holiday season. The Fair will take place Wed. Nov. 24 from 10:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m at 28 W. Pender St.

3. And there have been some interesting recent additions to the
Compass Alumni networking website including a number of intriguing videos and a brilliant Vancouver Sun application letter penned by Hunter S. Thompson. If you haven't visited in a while, I hope you'll swing by for a look-see and maybe even freshen up your profile a bit - you never know who might be out there looking to talk to you about something of interest.
