Cultivating Harmony


Every May some of the best yoga teachers in the Vancouver region travel to Squamish to share their wisdom and talent, offered directly from their hearts. They do this in support of Yoga Outreach, a unique charitable organization dedicated to sharing the healing path of yoga with everyone, regardless of their life situation. Yoga Outreach organizes free yoga classes in prisons, mental health settings, recovery centres, transition homes and other locations.

Join us May 28-30 for our 11th Annual Yoga Outreach Retreat in Paradise Valley. Set on a 420-acre ecological reserve along the banks of the Cheakamus River, our retreat takes place in a lovely, peaceful setting just 45 minutes from Horseshoe Bay. You'll be able to enjoy your pick of yoga and meditation classes or a take quiet time by the river; eat exquisite, healthy meals; shop at our marketplace for one-of-a-kind gifts; and meet people of all types who share a belief that yoga changes lives.

A diverse group of teachers from many different backgrounds will offer yoga and meditation classes throughout the weekend; as well, there will be a film screening on Friday and a night of magical didgeridoo music with Shine Edgar on Saturday.
