Seeking: Creative & Outgoing Community Connector
… Would you like a rewarding part-time position that is different from any job you have ever had?

We are looking for Community Connectors to build networks of friends around individuals who are socially isolated because of a disability in various locations around the lower mainland including Vancouver and the North Shore

Are you…
• The person who always plans activities for your friends?
• Someone with strong connections in your community? (Please state your community of residence in the subject line on your response)
• Gifted at planning and hosting fun events?
• Outgoing and good at building relationships, but also …
• Able to fade into the background and let others shine?
• Organized and able to work well independently?
• Naturally able to see the gifts and abilities in people?
• Excited about putting an end to social isolation?

We would love to meet you!

This work is…
• VERY part-time (2-6 hours per month), with fairly flexible work hours
• Current criminal record check required
• Minimum one year commitment
• Basic computer and internet skills are a must
• Use of a vehicle and driver’s license is preferred
• The starting contract wage is $22.00 per hour
