2. The BCNCC offers "An Introduction to Compassionate Communication" on the North Shore.

In this introduction you will learn:
 The underlying principles and skills of Compassionate Communication
 Causes of stress and conflict
 Strategies to reduce stress and conflict in your relationships.

Catherine Strickland, Executive Director of the BC Network for Compassionate Communication (www.bcncc.ca), will lead this workshop. BCNCC is a network of NVC Trainers, Facilitators and Practitioners offering workshops and classes based on the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) model developed by Marshall Rosenberg at the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (www.cnvc.org).
